Hi

I am modelling species distributions in different time slices, and I'm
trying to assess where areas of non-analogue climates occur. A simple
way to check that is to create a model covering the whole study
reguion (I use grid data), and project that onto a different climatic
time slice (it is described in Fitzpatrick and Hargrove 2009 Biod.
Cons. 18:2255-2261, if anyone is interested).

I tried to do just that, but I just get a suitability of 0.5 across my
whole study region. For the conditions I calibrated the model on, and
for the different time slices. I have tried to play with the
regularisation multiplier (0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 5) - but without any
luck...

Any ideas will be most welcome,

Have a nice weekend
Irina
