Convert GeoTIFF in ASCii/Grid

Hello everyone,

I`m trying to convert a GeoTIFF file in ASC or GRID, but I just find tools that do the reverse.

I did it using the Grid Converter software, but when the image was converted in ASC, all image data was lost.

Does anyone know how I can do it?

You can do this in R quite easily:

library(raster)
r <- raster('c:/path/to/raster.tif')
writeRaster(r, 'c:/path/to/raster.asc')
