Dear all members of this group, Hi. I wanted to do MA Thesis on my the topic of Impact of Climate Change on Distribution of indigenous tree species in my district. After I collected species occurrence from the fields and installed maxent .Climatic layers and Climate data refused to download and After a long trial the Downloaded one is also refused to display xy coordinate correctly on Arc gis map. in general  this Science is new to me.  I faced challenges please help me by giving reading pdf, videos or help me by guiding .

Though the geodata server is currently down for maintenance, you can use the below script

#Install geodata package

install.packages("remotes")

remotes::install_github("rspatial/geodata")

library(geodata)

 

#define your destination folder

output=”E:/Bioclim/”

 

#download the bioclim variables globally, by country,or by your study area extent

Bioclim <- worldclim_global(var="bio", res=0.5, version="2.1",path=output)

If you send me your area of extent in lon & lat form: eg xmin,xmax,ymin,ymax, I will try to share the data with you via google drive or telegram.
