Hi,

I've been trying to create a habitat suitability analysis for the past month with eBird data, consisting of lat/long and species of shorebirds within Southern Ontario, Canada for my senior honours thesis. My environmental layers right now are a DEM and SOLRIS data, which is land cover data where each pixel within the study area is classified as a land cover type (wetland, beach, built areas, and tilled).

I'm having difficulty running the models when I select more than one SOLRIS land type. The model runs on only one layer at a time. Example, it would run on built areas and the DEM, but not any other land cover type. When I try to run the model on all the layers, I get an error that says that each environmental layer "...have different geographic dimensions" or at certain coordinates, environmental data are missing. Also I'm getting the error "no background points with data in all layers".

I think this is an issue of "No Data" in the SOLRIS layer. I changed the No data in the properties of the SOLRIS layers to "1" but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Rebekah

Hi,
This is because you need to clip the layers to exactly the same boundary. You can check out some ArcMap  tutorials online, like YouTube videos. Hope it helps.

Best,
Shuhan
