Hi all,

Has anyone noticed mistakes in the Worldclim future datasets posted on
worldclim.org? It appears as though some of the datasets have been
posted twice for the 2.5 arc-minute data, but in folders with
different names.

For example, the raw climate data (min/max temp and precipitation) for
CSIRO B2a for the years 2050 and 2080 are identical; the same problem
goes for HADCM3 A2a, but the years 2020 and 2050 have identical
climate data. This might not be so noticable if one were using these
in distribution modelling (i.e., it might look like there is little/no
change in distribution for these years), but looking at the raw data
for individual georeferenced points shows that these datasets are
identical.

If you are using these datasets at 2.5 arc-minute resolution (or have
used them in publications), could you please let me know if you are
having the same problem?

Cheers,

David

Hi David

Suggest to contact directly Robert Hijmans <r.hi...@gmail.com>,
<rhij...@berkeley.edu>. Please let the MaxEnt-group know if you find
out about potential problems with these datasets.

Cheers, Jakob

I've noticed that with the CCCMA models A2a and B2a for 2020 are
exactly the same. Also the B2a gets a lot warmer in 2050 and much
colder in 2080, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be doing that or not.

Hi all,

Looks like my files got corrupted during processing, and the ones
posted online are correct. Sorry for any confusion.
