Equate entropy of thresholded and non-thresholded distributions

Hi all,

Does anyone have some experience using the "Equate entropy of
thresholded and non-thresholded distributions"-threshold rfom the
Maxent output? It seems to fit what we know about our species'
distribution, but can anyone explain what it means? Or does someone
know of another good paper on selecting thresholds besides Liu et al.
(2005)?

It seems there are many questions regarding threshold selection in
SDMs, but very little reseach adressing this aspect...
