"To everyone for whom my father was a teacher, friend, coach, or mentor, please know that he passed away this morning from COVID-19. Six weeks ago, he was a healthy and active senior. My mother requested that we ask everyone to wear a mask and stay safe over the next few months. This is a fickle and truly devastating disease. Considering the current circumstances, we are planning a small family celebration of my father’s life.
