I’m trying to get detailed feedback about my payload’s operational state — such as when it’s active, idle, performing a task, or has encountered an error. I’m not just interested in sending payload commands, but in receiving real-time status or telemetry updates from the payload itself.
Which MAVLink messages (either standard or commonly repurposed) can be used or adapted for reporting this kind of payload status information in ArduPilot?
