I'm trying hands on with this plugin. When I execute mvn jgitflow:release-start goal, I get the following error, unable to connect to my stash repo. My stash repo is behind proxy.

Error starting release: Error setting origin in configuration: https://user...@stash.xxxx.com/scm/xx/xxxx.git: cannot open git-upload-pack: Connection time out: stash.xxx.com -> [Help 1]

How do I specify the proxy details to this plugin? JGit doesn't seem to pick up my git config, that has proxy config set up. I've tried passing the proxy config as JVM args but didn't help - -Dhttp.proxyHost=xx.xx.xx.xx -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080

Cheers, Ganga

Thanks Stevo for your reply. I did try that but couldn't succeed.

Hi,

I have working proxy maven settings and the same issue as you. Adding the generic the generic -D parameters from above did not work but after realizing they are for plain http I made it work by changing to https:

mvn -Dhttps.proxyHost=localhost -Dhttps.proxyPort=3128 jgitflow:release-finish

After this I got prompted for the stash credentials.

Note that I use a cntlm proxy on localhost to circumvent the issues with connecting to the Windows-based proxy my company uses.
