Regarding maven dependency build failure

Hi All,

When we do jenkins build, We have been facing the following issue:

We have configured in our local jfrog repo but it did n't pick up.

Failed to execute goal on project inbranch-api: Could not resolve dependencies for project Failed to collect dependencies at org.apache.poi:poi-ooxml:jar:3.15 -> com.github.virtuald:curvesapi:jar:1.04: Failed to read artifact descriptor for com.github.virtuald:curvesapi:jar:1.04: Could not transfer artifact com.github.virtuald:curvesapi:pom:1.04 from/to ): sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target -> [Help 1]

Can you please help me?

Hi,

The error doesn't come directly from the download-maven-plugin, but it's "sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target". Please make sure you're using a recent JVM first (with up-to-date certificates), and if this is not sufficient, looking for this particular message on the web will give you other clues.

Hi Mickael, 

Thanks for your inputs. 

We are using jvm1.8 version . If it is related to certs issue, every dependency build failure happens but that didn’t happen. A few of them are already successful. 

I have tried all following possibilities but can’t make it work. 

1). Remove the .last_updated files, .remote_repositories files

2). Remove the .m2 directory if it is corrupted. 

3). To configure the missing dependencies in jfrog repository.
