Unknown packaging : apk @ line 7

Hi Guys,

I'm finally getting everything working except for this pom.xml error
which occurs in my Eclipse Helios IDE.

Unknown packaging : apk @ line 7

I've read the getting started guide and have also installed the
following :

- ADT plugin 8.0.1.v20101206
- Maven Integration for Eclipse 0.1.2.0.20101115
- Maven Integration for Android Development Tools 0.2.4

I can compile my project perfectly using the command line and maven
but in Eclipse I can't do anything until this unknown packaging error
in the pom.xml is resolved. My Maven libraries aren't shown in
Eclipse when packaging is set to apk, but they show when packaging is
set to jar. If leave the pom.xml set to packaging type of jar my
project won't build with the Maven-Android-Plugin.

This doesn't appear to a packaging type Eclipse supports even with the
above plugins installed.

Am i missing something please?

Hi Stephen

Have you tried right-clicking on your project and selecting Maven ->
Update Dependencies or Maven -> Update Project Configuration?
