Heads Up everyone,

The new Android SDK rev 22, published today, is incompatible with
android-maven-plugin.

Hope I'm not crying wolf here, if so I apologize, but I cant remember
anyone mentioning this here on the list before.

I see that a solution is discussed in bug 205 and 206.

https://github.com/jayway/maven-android-plugin/pull/206

Speaking of solution, depending directly on the SDK-path has always seemed a
bit volatile to me. As a stop gap solution, would it be a better alternative
to require that the user add the tools path(s) to their $PATH, and not make
any assumptions about the internal state of the SDK directory structure?

Use the snapshot repository as a temp solution https://code.google.com/p/maven-android-plugin/wiki/SnapshotRepo

We unfortunately updated our ADT plugins in Eclipse and are unable to make our mavenized Android projects work anymore.

Can someone tell us the current plan to release the updated version of android-maven-plugin on Maven central?

Thank you

I am planning to either release once I have the rest of the fixes from
James and others as 3.6.0 or if required earlier as 3.6.0-RC1. I will wait
till tomorrow for any further fixes and then just release as RC1 or
final..

The pull request for manifest merger support is here:
https://github.com/jayway/maven-android-plugin/pull/214

I'm looking at an issue with the deployer now but that shouldn't block the 3.6.0 release.
