Failsafe on Plane using mavlink heartbeat?

Good afternoon,

Is mavelous currently sending a mavlink heartbeat and if so where is that configured in code. The reason is I want to setup failsafe on the plane side.

Off the top of my head I don't recall. That behavior would be derived from Mavproxy, so you'll have to look at it from that side.

FWIW, we're using a very old version of mavproxy in mavelous because it used to be quite difficult to add modules outside of the mavproxy tree. I understand that has been fixed in recent versions of mavproxy but I don't know all of the details.
