Map panning animation disabled

I didn't think that the Leaflet map panning animation looked very good at high zoom levels (see https://github.com/wiseman/mavelous/issues/41), so I turned it off.

I think it looks a lot better now, but let me know what all of you think.  The new version is running at http://mavelousdemo.appspot.com/

The one issue I've found is that for some reason it doesn't work in Chrome on my iPad running iOS 6.   Chrome on Linux, OS X, and iPhone iOS 5 works fine, so it's a mystery to me why it doesn't work on the iPad.  If anyone can tell me whether Chrome + iPad works/doesn't work for them I would appreciate it.
