Assalamu Alaikum Everyone,
I hope you are all as excited as I am about starting our soccer league today!!! Even though you all already know, this is just another reminder! We will kick off by playing against our brothers from the ADAMS Center insha'Allah. Please be punctual and meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Daralnoor Masjid (we have a 45 minute drive).
Insha'Allah, I will provide the shirts only; make sure you come with your own shorts (black), socks (sky blue), shin-guards, and plenty of water!!
Please ensure that we do not argue with the referee nor with the opponents. We are all representing Daralnoor Masjid and are also role models for our beautiful religion, Islam!!! There will be zero tolerance if anyone is found to be displaying inappropriate behavior on or off the field. They will not take any further part in the match!!!!
Please remember that all the matches will be played at Potomack Lakes Sportsplex, 20280 Cascades Parkway, Sterling, Va 20165 (field # 5). This field has been booked for the next 4 Sundays.
It would be great if any of the community members could come and support our youth and the adult teams and it would also be a great help to transport the two teams to Sterling.
Finally, please remember to call me or email me immediately, if you are injured or unable to play for any reason!!!
