I made a copy of a disk from Teleatlas for an Audi and tried to run it on a
Ford-system but it doesn't work.

Does anyone know if there is a protection ?? If so, how can I fix it ??

Thanx

That's ok, for it is illegal to steal the software.

...and once again: your answer doesn't match to the question.

BTW: If he owns the CD, he's allowed to make a backup copy of it.

Only a tip:
Are you shure that the Ford-System also uses Teleatlas-Format, not
perhaps Navtech ?

I'm not the initial poster of this thread and I've used the Ford RNS only
once, but "Audi Navigationssystems & Plus" and "Ford Radio
Navigationsystem" RNS both are capable for using Teleatlas CDs.
http://www.navisys.de/

If you buy such a CD you've to choose your Navigationsystem and I assume
that the navigationsystems of Audi and Ford are different. BTW, you've to
select your system when ordering such a CD and there's a hint that *not* all
CDs are compatible.

Greetings, Dietmar
