FARALLON = 3COM Ethernet cards? Drivers ?

I have a 3Com Fast Etherlink XL PCI card (10/1100 Base TX), model
3CF905B-TX.

3Com (France) said me that they have no Mac drivers but Farallon cards
are in fact 3Com cards : so Farallon drivers can be used with 3Com
cards.

I download drivers from Farallon web site (Drivers : PN994, PN 995,
PN996) :

I think that these drivers don't work (I don't see 'ethernet' in
appletalk control panel)

How can I test drivers (or the PCI card) without any connection from
card to network (only if ethernet appears in Appletalk control panel ,
like modem and printer ports) ?

Do anyone have a solution ? other drivers for 3Com PCI card for mac ?
