Hallo zusammen und Hello all

A very well known problem with Netscape Navigator is its instability.
Some say that version 4.x runs more stable than 3.x but I don´t notice
any difference in this aspect. Since 4.x doesn´t support Java any more
(I am speaking of the 68k-version) I normally stick to the 3.04
Navigator.

From time to time a very curious phenomenon appears while using the
browser (both versions): every time I want to visit a particular webpage
it crashes. This effect is 100% reproductible. This page doesn´t use
Java and there were no applets loaded before. This is very strange in
many ways: Before I visited this site many times and nothing happened,
instead another page caused a 100% crash-probability and this one is
harmless now.
I have not the foggiest idea what the reason(s) could be.
Maybe you could check out those links and see what happens with your
browsers (don´t be afraid, a browser crash is the worst thing that could
happen)
The one that caused the recent crashes is:
http://www.consors.de (a broker)

The one which caused crashes before is:
http://www.pro-sieben.de (a tv-company) and then following the links to
"The Simpsons"

Could you reproduce the same or is it a very individual problem of my
browser and/or mac (BTW it´s a Performa 475 running System 7.55)

Any ideas or hints?

Thank you for your help

Paul

P.S.: My browsers do have enough memory (14 MB should be enough)
