Grandad 1 Quest for Holey Vest code? Atari ST

Every year or so I seem to get this urge to play Grandad 1:Quest for the
Holey Vest on my ST which I never got all the way through, and every year or
so I remember that I lost the 6 digit code that I ordered from the author
about 6 years ago. The author has long since changed his e-mail and I have
never been able to contact him, including sending a letter all the way to
the UK last year. (Ian somethingorother was his name) Grandad 2 had a very
complex protection code printed on a dark red piece of paper, but Grandad 1
just had this wimpy 6 digit code, same for everybody, all I had to do was
write it down, which I never did for whatever reason. If anyone could e-mail
me the code I would appreciate it, obviously if I went through the trouble
to get the protection sheet for part 2 you can trust me that I registered
the first one. Plus how did I know it was a 6 digit code? Thanks for any
