SCIFI Movie or TV show question

I have a hazy memory of a movie or TV show from back in the early 70's. I
remember a scene of a a man and woman being sealed under a giant dome and
shunned from society for having a real child as opposed to their issued
robot child. It's all very hazy but I kinda remember the dome being painted
over by riot squad types and the the couple an their child later escaped
through the the sewers.....
I must have been like 3 years old tops.
Any ideas?
