BLOOD!
The stuff of nightmares is now the stuff of role-playing. If you have ever
watched a horror film and thought that the characters were so dumb that they
deserved all they got then here is your chance to show you could do better!
BLOOD! offers you the chance to re-enact any horror film or story; be it a
stalk-and-slash, splatterfest, zombie-bash, gothic haunting or cannibal
gut-muncher.
The comprehensive rulebook includes:
A fast and furious combat system.
Over 400 weapons (powertools and garden implements not forgotten!).
Full rules for character generation.
Blood loss, shock, comas and unconsciousness.
Insanity's and poisons.
25 graphically detailed critical damage tables.
Three inter-linked scenarios.

That sounds suspiciously like something from Hitch Hikers'. Would it be
around the same time frame?

I've lived in Herne Bay (which I am convinced must be twinned with
Innsmouth) and Whitstable - and I have certainly visited Margate in
winter.
