In the very near future there will be a new release of XFree86 3.3.x. Since I
have plenty of things on my mind, I can't afford to work on XFree86 for
Linux/m68k anymore. I keep on working on XFree86 for Linux/PPC though. In fact
I have lots of things to merge with XFree86 (PPC support, fixed panning, 16/32
bpp support, bcast flag, Jes' RetinaZ3 acceleration, ...).
So I am looking for a person who
1. Has a '060 (or doesn't mind waiting for a slower computer) and some spare
diskspace
2. Likes compiling large packages like XFree86
3. Wants to become registered XFree86 developer to obtain legal access to the
XFree86 beta sources
4. Has a serial terminal or a second computer to survive crashes of the
X server :-)
For point 3, follow the developer's link at www.xfree86.org.
Greetings,
Geert
