The question is : What difference do you notice between Willy and
Charley and their system of values? They way I looked at this was that
Willy knows that he is having trouble financially. Charley is offering
him a job that makes more than Willy is getting now. Willy won't take
the job because it looks like he takes pride in his job as a saleman.
Meanwhile if this was before he would of took the job. Charley starts
to become against Willy. He doesn't understand why he won't take the
job. He is offering more than he is making. This is what I got from

What was Willy's tragic flaw? I think Willy was not only stuck in the
past but trying to bring his past back into his future. I'm not sure
what page it is but Willy and Ben have this convo about how Ben became
rich. By knowing this he tried to challenge himself to be like his
brother. He wanted to be a successful salesman that could go beyond
the past of his brothers riches.
