Question 3: What significant information does Willy acquire from
Bernard about Biff?

First, Biff failed his math course, but Willy already knew that, but
couldn't understand why Biff never went to summer school. He thought
that Biff just gave up right after his failure and continued to move
down. While talking to Bernard, Willy learned that Biff had every
intention of going to summer school and was well prepared for it.
Bernard then tells of how Biff just disappeared and went to Boston to
see Willy and when he returned, he was different. He took his favorite
sneakers and burned them. Then when Bernard asked Willy what happened,
Willy got defensive and didn't want to be blamed. (Miller 94) This
means that Biff found out about Willy's affair during this time and it
destroyed him. Biff obviously couldn't handle it and began a life of
misery. So it was basically Willy's fault for causing Biff to not
continue in his education.

Im really hoping im answering the right question. I forgot my number,
but i think it was number six.

#6. What does the restaurant scene reveal about Happy's character?

The restaurant scene reveals that Happy is kind. He helped Stanley
move the chairs while he was carrying the table. Happy also doesn't
seem to be paying to much attention to what Stanley had to say, he
just kept telling him about his brother being back and how he thinks
they will be going into business together. It seemed like all he
wanted to do was talk about his news. Happy also seems to be into
girls. He sees the "lavishly dresses girl" the second she walks in.

6. What does the restaurant scene reveal about Happy's character?

The restaurant scene revealed that Happy does not care for his father,
even though he is just like Willy. Within these pages, when Willy was
in the bathroom, Happy denies the fact that he is really his father.
Also, he was willing to lie to his father about Biff's meeting with
Oliver. Though Biff is always fighting with his father, he clearly
cares about Willy more than Happy does. Happy is very self-absorbed
and only cares for what benefits himself.
