"If you build it, they will come."
Well, thats true if you build it CORRECTLY. In the movie "Field of
Dreams", the main charactor did not just clear some corn and say it was
a baseball field, he built a full on diamond with bases, bleachers and
turf.
He had to wait, but eventually, they came.
Point is; build it correctly and they will come. Search Engines are
designed to find content relating to users querys, so if you provide
the right content that can be accessed and read by a SE robot of
crawler, you will be indexed.
Now, you can take it a step further, or should we say, many steps. But
be sure to have a good foundation to build on. Build you house on a
rock, so to speak. Use readable content, text, anchor text, proper
html, alt tags & a site map. When naming files, also use relative
content; you could name a file image1.gif or why not
maui_web_design.gif. Be creative, but stick to your subject and dont
try to "trick" the SE, stay honest in your design and techniques.
