Dear MBA Fellows,
Assalamu Alaikum.
The VOICE raised by Awal is the representation of those who want and intend to have a transparent and democratic drive of the Association- MAUC.
MAUC is not merely  focused on having a gathering of the batch-mates and publishing a membership directory.
It is mainly committed to serve the MBA graduates (students and Alumni) in career development and enhancement.
It must not be a vehicle to reach the point of popularity, nor it is a media of an arbitrary exercise of authority.
We want a peaceful resolution of the 3-points raised and reiterated below.
  1. The dictatorial decision making process, such as:
    • Lack of opportunities for the members to take part in the decision making process
    • Not considering opinions and convenience of members in organizing events
    • Not following proper procedure in holding AGM/Convention
    • Confine leadership to a group with vested interests
  2. Using MAUC for the interest of few individuals rather than the common interests of the CU Business Graduates
  3. Undermining the rights and dignity of members of the organization as well as the fellow business graduates

Till the expected resolution is obtained, we all should exercise our rights to abstain from any gathering/programe held by MAUC existing committee.

  • Thanks and best regards.
  • Md. Mizanur Rashid
  • MBA- 4th Batch Accounting

Dear Fellow Members

We had a meeting here in Dhaka with the Batch Coordinators who have been instrumental in registering 1500+ members for MAUC, for collecting and validating the data of our fellow graduates for members’ directory and least but not last your contributions in each and every events of the platform of CU business graduates. Sincere gratitude to each one of our batch coordinators.

We will continue to drive:

  1. For CU MBAs to have a constructive platform to develop our CU Business Graduates – professionally and Socially.
  2. For upholding the dignity and rights of each and every business graduates.
  3. For a community that supports each other for business and profession.

We have decided to boycott the MAUC Iftar Party to express our position against:

  • The dictatorial decision making process, such as:
    • Lack of opportunities for the members to take part in the decision making process
    • Not considering opinions and convenience of members in organizing events
    • Not following proper procedure in holding AGM/Convention
    • Confine leadership to a group with vested interests
  • Using MAUC for the interest of few individuals rather than the common interests of the CU Business Graduates
  • Undermining the rights and dignity of members of the organization as well as the fellow business graduates

With best regards
