Witkof is a real estate guy that trump golfs with, absolutely no experience with foreign affairs simply a love of Putin. Putin started the invasion of Ukraine and will always look for more territory to occupy. Russia will invade other countries if freed from this war. Ukraine fights for everyone else.

I would often agree with that. But in this case. 

Not sure you can stop killing by letting a tyrant be rewarded. You only whet his appetite for more killing and thieving.

I'm unclear on Michael's point. 

With excellent real-time examples in our own country and recent historical revelations elsewhere, we see that appeasing mal-intent-fueled leaders — legitimately elected or not-- is a failed tactic; it emboldens and adds confidence for instigating further intentional harm. Putin/Trump are proving this actuality these days, but we have ample proof from Mao, Stalin, Hitler and many others. It's a realiable tendency among violent dictator-types and sensible to conclude more harm will follow.

In my mind, you don't need to be a geezer to grasp this lesson.
