Hi folks,
I watch the weather by the hour some days, even if it's sunny and nothing. I did notice that in the last 6-8 hours that regional winter weather advisories are now warnings INCLUDING SW Humboldt and the Mattole valley.
Monday 10pm to Wednesday for snow as low as 2000'. 6-12 inches of likely heavy wet snow, and a solid breeze so I'd expect there's going to be some trees coming down and maybe some power lines with it. It seems every so often I check it it gets a little bit more severe looking.

12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Southwestern Humboldt.
* WHEN...From 10 PM Monday to 4 PM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches and cause power outages.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This may impact Mattole Road and Shelter Cove
road among other roads above 2,000 feet.
