Potters!

I posted this below to this year;s class but thought if any of you who have taken the class want too come by and see,help, or just enjoy, you;re welcome!  Or even if you didn't do the class and are interested in seeing a wood fired kiln in action, come by!

Kiln firing

Id like to fire the kiln this coming saturday, weather permitting;  Looks like friday will be clear, which is when the pots could be glazed and loaded, hopefully before it gets  dark. then i;d start the firing early saturday ans complete it by saturday evening. It usually takes about 8-9 hours. If you come over friday afternoon you could glaze your pots yourself. Otherwise i could glaze them for you  let me know.  firing can be fun, as once things get going it;s just a matter of hanging out ane loading in wood, which i have been collecting and checking temperature cones etc. Xnice to get it done before christmas.  Come by and see , help, enjoy.
