Ohhh hheyyyy. I am going to be telling a new story as part of the
Zero To Fierce Festival in Humboldt on March 14!
A story from the trenches of growing up in a radical environmental theater company titled. "Tactical Unitards"
"Joyful Raven never had a fighting chance at anything akin to a normal life. She was forced into animal print unitards and political positions long before she was a consenting adult. You think your parents were embarrassing? Did you have to sing about salmon sex, on stage, in a unitard at 12 years old...WITH your parents? I didn’t think so."
The whole evening is called "Queen Stories"

And I will be joined by a bevy of Bay Area baddasses telling powerful stories of resistance, liberation...
Queen Stories features Bay Area poet Silvi Alcivar, Pussy Evangelist Katie Macks, and the bright rising artist Daisy Crane who brings fervor and hilarity to the stage. Co-produced with well-known Bay Area comic, Holly Shaw and hosted/directed by yours truly. This evening promises to be a celebration of resilience, humor, and fierce storytelling.
