If you have forgotten how bad January 6, 2001 was, Tom Driesbach has a collection of short videos for you, along with a link to the NPR archive on the event, the NY Times has a reconstruction here, and Heather Cox Richardson puts it into historical perspective here

Subsequently, Trump pardoned nearly 1,600 people convicted or charged for their roles in the attack, including some convicted of seditious conspiracy, and the White House and many Republicans are trying to re-write the history of the event, as with:

For the best punditry I've seen on this sorry event, see G. Elliot Morris on Substack.

Nonsense, John.
Our president contends it was a love fest comprised of the best of us. Are you suggesting our president has or would deceive us?

Now that we have President Trump, only a fool or enemy of the US would believe their own eyes.

My Trumplican friend (can't say Republican because Trump voters are Not Republicans due to their indisputable abandoning of core Republican values) living near Fortuna does not recall the event on Jan. 6, 2021. She thinks the whole thing is just a diversion from the harm caused by immigrants. Thought she was joking. Nope.
