Hello amazing community-

We are looking for food donations during our annual Canned Food Drive.  There will be Food for People barrels or tubs at the Petrolia Store, Mattole School,  the Honeydew School and our office.  More locations coming soon!

All donations go directly to our two local Food Pantries, which in turn directly supports local community members.  As you may already know, CalFresh (SNAP) benefits have been disrupted, meaning there are many families, seniors, and individuals right here in our valley that might go without food.

Thanks to our amazing partnership with Food for People, we have been able to work toward ensuring that if people need food, we can give them food, even with these devastating cuts to food budgets.

Please show your support by donating shelf stable/non-perishable food items at any of the bins around the valley.  You can also make a financial contribution by using this link (please put "Food Pantry" in the memo), mailing a check, or dropping by our office.
