It seems like sort of a shame the community is all split up on Independance Day, and Labor Day between the Grange BBQs, and the Sunday Market at the Community Center. Why not host the Sunday Market at the Grange next year for just those two Sundays? The Grange might get better attendance, Sunday Marketeers would get more potential customers, and we'd all get to hang out! Much is made these days of our political differences; there's nothing like getting together now and then on our common ground to appreciate each other as a community.
On Independance Day, I celebrate rebellion against the tyrannical rule of a distant monarch. Labor Day celebrates workers. All wealth was created initially at the hands of a worker.
The Grange is a valuable asset for our entire community, and it takes interest, and support from us to keep it going.
Theres been a rumor going around that a Passport or Real ID is required to travel up-river past Shenanagin Ridge. Not true. In fact, NO PAPERWORK is required to visit the friendly, feral communities of Upper Mattole/Honeydew. We have Open Borders!
