Reiterating that no one should be driving towards lower Lighthouse Rd. Mattole River is flooding the road between Bear Creek (the area with the riprap) and Ellen's driveway and is multiple feet deep through the alder grove. I hope you all enjoy your solstice safely. With love, Veronica

Water too high and swift to go from the beach to Safier’s.  My F350 was fine until the water piled into the air intake and stalled it out.  We floated back to lower water and could start it again and back out.

If one is coming from Petrolia, one might get pushed down the road OK, but not be able to go back against the current.

I don’t know if the Mill Creek to Prosper Road is open, or the one past Taylor and Alex's
