Introduction

Hello All,

I am Chinmay Nivargi, joining the PhD program this Fall. I completed
my B.Tech from IIT Bombay this year and am looking forward to Stanford
now.

Have any other new students joined this group? Please introduce
yourselves.

I believe that there are a few senior students from MSE here as well.
Hello to all.
We just received the department orientation email yesterday. Is there
anything else department specific to be aware of before this
orientation?

Also, in your opinion, is any particular book absolutely helpful and
recommended to be brought from India? At IIT, I mostly used books from
the library, so haven't got much to carry. Any suggestion would help.
