Problem locating boltztrap run folders

Hi all,

this is my first post. I will be Anubhav's postdoc soon so I might bug you with more questions in the future and I appreciate your help.

I need to access some boltztrap run files but I don't know where they are. For example, the following folder could not be found using get_loc from here. I use it as following after adding MPworks to my PYTHONPATH on Edison:

get_loc('block_2015-03-02-16-02-43-516017/launcher_2015-03-06-00-53-01-549189/boltztrap')

raises the following error:

"ValueError: get_loc() -- dir does not exist!! Make sure your base directory is listed in RUN_LOCS of wf_settings.py"

I also manually checked the folders listed here and the following don't exist to begin with:

/global/scratch/sd/matcomp/

/scratch/scratchdirs/matcomp/

/global/scratch/sd/matcomp/aj_tests/

/global/scratch/sd/matcomp/wc_tests/

/global/scratch/sd/matcomp/aj_prod/

/global/scratch2/sd/matcomp/mp_prod/

/global/scratch2/sd/matcomp/mp_prod_hopper/

Hi Alireza, the output directories of MP production should all be at /project/projectdirs/matgen/garden Which fw_id does your launcher directory belong to? best, Patrick

Indeed, when I try the following, the folder exists, I just get a permission error. Is it because of the permission error that get_loc couldn't find it?

cd /project/projectdirs/matgen/garden/block_2015-03-02-16-02-43-516017/launcher_2015-03-06-00-53-01-549189/boltztrap

Sorry I'm not sure where to find the fw_id in the database. The task_id is mp-922655 and also I found the following, helpful?

yeah, we've had issues with people accessing projectdirs from Edison. Do you have access to Mendel and can try from there? How did you find out about the block_2015-03-02-16-02-43-516017 directory? It doesn't seem to exist in /project/projectdirs/matgen/garden.

I did the following query at vasp_mp_prod.boltztrap database and that folder is under "dir_name":

{ task_id: "mp-922655" }

Not sure about Mendel; I have only logged into Edison and Cori before.

Hi Patrick,

could you please help me locate "block_2015-03-02-16-02-43-516017/launcher_2015-03-06-00-53-01-549189/boltztrap" this is just one of the series of ~20-30 materials that I need to find. Please let me know if you need any information.
