Is anybody still working on this bundle? I added a command to save and
open the current file in Sysquake. But since Sysquake is a little
different than MATLAB, I'm a bit lost on how to modify the language
definitions. Any other Sysquake users? If you haven't used it before,
it's a nice app, with a native Cocoa interface.

Hi,

I've recently changed jobs to one in which I don't need matlab.
I'm still maintaining the bundle, though, so I'm more than happy to add any additions or other language definitions.

To add a new language, I'd start by cloning either Matlab's or Octave's and using that as a basis for your new one.
If the language is very different, though, you might need to start from scratch. Glancing at the website, it looks like modifying the octave language would probably work quite well.

If you need an intro to writing language grammars, I can't recommend the TM book (http://www.pragprog.com/titles/textmate/textmate) highly enough.

This group doesn't have many members (or much traffic), so if you know of any TextMate wielding Sysquake using people, then get them to join: you're more than welcome to discussion it here.

Cheers,
