A most successful celebration! The Fiesta marking 65 years of cave exploration in, under and around Matienzo was the result of meticulous planning, enjoyable work during the events and diligent winding down.
The childrens caving trips, photograph exhibition, tortilla competition, football match, duck race, barbecue and dance were all very well attended and enjoyed by all participants, locals and cavers / visitors alike.
Many thanks are due to all the organisers and helpers who made the Fiesta such a great time!

Aww yay! I really wish I could have been there. Traveling is just not an option again for the foreseeable future sadly. I really miss you all and look back on the few years I did get there with joy :) I am sure tides will turn and I will be able to be back someday! I live vicariously with these reports so if you ever wonder if anyone watches or reads them, yes I do :)
