Matienzo photo competition

Final details for the Matienzo Caves 65th Fiesta photo competition.

Theme: Caves explored by cavers in and around Matienzo, i.e. from Cueva Vallina northwards.
3 categories: Passages, Formations, Cavers
Venue: The Old School, Matienzo
Judge: Sam Davis

• Maximum total of 3 prints per photographer, colour or B&W.
• Printed for display (not projected); possibly mounted for hanging, or prints could be laid out on a table. Each print must have some info: the category, the cave and the photographer's name.
• Maximum size should be around A4, 10"x8" etc
• Entries close 6th August.
• Judging on 7th August during the exhibition opening session.

The prints will be displayed from 6th to 15th August.
Prizes: Glory. Cake might be involved. Sam has donated an experienced Olympus Tough camera that's already proven its worth in challenging conditions - ready for its next photographic expedition!

There are various ways to ensure that the prints arrive before the 6th August deadline:
take them yourself or give them to someone who is going to Matienzo;
post the photo(s) to me, either in Bentham (before July 16th) or Matienzo. If using an online print company, it may be possible for the print(s) to be sent directly to me. Send an email or private WhatsApp to get the address. (juancorrin[at]matienzo.org.uk)
