The 65th year of cave exploration in and around Matienzo is coming up in 2025. It would be wonderful if anyone (or group) designed and produced some celebratory clothing for the 65th year. (In recent years, T-shirts, polo necks and warmer garments including hoodies have been organised by Steve Martin.)
From the MCP perspective, whatever the overall design (front and back, and sleeve?), it should include the basic Matienzo Caves Project logo (for continuity, example attached) and have the web address (matienzocaves.org.uk). The design could also incorporate a new MCP 65th logo. (This could also appear on all website pages throughout 2025.)
Garments should be available for Easter 2025 and the finances can be arranged through the treasurer, Susan Martin.
Steve can advise about garment sizes and numbers to print and the firm(s) he's used before for garments and production, if necessary. There may be more than one design, in which case we can have a vote. Keeping them all in one place, designs (front and back) can be put up on WhatsApp Chat in the first instance for comment. Me or another WhatsApp person put your designs on WhatsApp if you're not on it.
If you want any graphic from the Matienzo Caves map, e.g. a jpg showing centre line of all the caves, main roads and area names then just ask.

I'm planning on bringing a small batch of Matienzo 65 badges down at Easter.
Any news on a special 65 years logo?

I am not a fan of having a QR code on a shirt. I don't want to encourage people to photograph me.
I like the idea of the back with the more detailed map with the cave overlays, but I feel like there may be a more pleasing way to present it that would print better. I love lime green it just is a bit overwhelming visually impo. Is there a way to have a less intense topo and still show the area with the caves? Love that the info is in Spanish!
Will see how things go this year if I can make it out >_> Hug your friends, speak up against bills that will harm them, and keep fighting fascism!
