Meet tomorrow by the entrance to the Raleigh Arboretum http://www.ncsu.edu/jcraulstonarboretum/index.php

Math Trek is a photography and mathematics game for growing your "math eyes." My number is 919-388-1721 in case you are late and we are already on the trail.

Check out past games at http://naturalmath.wikispaces.com/MathTrekResearchTriangle

Hi, Folks--

If you live in Raleigh and want to continue to "grow math eyes" with
your children with photography, then you don't want to miss the
current exhibit on City Plaza on Fayetteville Street called Amococo.
It is an exhibit called a luminarium that is a beautiful, wonder-
inspiring playground for light, color, and math.

I have the details, along with some photos we took, on my blog at:http://teachingyourmiddleschooler.blogspot.com/2011/05/amococo-junction-of-art-math-science.html

It is a great experience, so I just wanted to let people know so more
of us can take advantage of it.

Thanks,
Carol

Oooh, thanks for letting us know, Carol! I absolutely loved it last year - here's our photo set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26208371@N06/tags/luminarium/

Last year's one was Mirazozo--this one is even bigger, and with some differences in color and such.  But the same fabulous experience!

I should have said it is only here this weekend, so if you are interested, you'll have to go tomorrow.

Enjoy!
