First of all, we should all be aware that some people get the messages
this way, and thus be careful to trim your messages instead of quoting
the entirety of past messages! This makes it a lot easier to read the
digest and find all the new material.
Secondly, you should be able to sign into your Google account and
visit http://groups.google.com/group/mathteacherscircle/ . In the
right bar you'll see an "Edit my membership" link. That takes you to
http://groups.google.com/group/mathteacherscircle/subscribe . Then
you can choose from a few digest options. I recommend the "Digest
email" or just plain "Email". I suspect that the flood of new
messages will calm down a lot once we've settled in to the group, but
who knows? Do remember that there are already 186 of us subscribed,
and many more invited and on their way as the teachers' circles around
the country get going, so be careful about whether you want to reply
to the whole list or just to one individual. Right now we are not
moderating submissions, and replies by default are directed to the
whole list.
Also, if you have trouble making the digest settings work for you,
either get a Google account associated with your email address, or
email me or Brianna directly with your request and be sure to let us
know your email address as subscribed to the list -- we won't be able
to find you by name!
Thanks,
