Dear Science teachers

While preparing resources/lesson plans for teaching your topic as per the state text book, it would be  very useful to read the chapter for the same topic from the NCERT Science text book also.

We now have on KOER (http://karnatakaeducation.org.in/KOER/en/index.php/Text_Books_NCERT_Science) all the NCERT science text books for classes 8,9 and 10. Please see the links below for your reference. If you click on the link in the email you can download the  chapter from NCERT text book for the selected topic. Or you can visit the (http://karnatakaeducation.org.in/KOER/en/index.php/Text_Books_NCERT_Science webpage to download the chapters as well.

The NCERT text books reflect the philosophy of the NCF 2005 and are a real pleasure to read... I request all teachers to download, read and enjoy them!! (KOER resource persons can also read these to prepare resources for KOER, the second Science KOER workshop is scheduled for August 29,30,31 at Bangalore Rural DIET)
