Dear Shaila madam, Shahid Sir, Krishna Sir

Thank you for using the forum to discuss the objectives and effectiveness of programmes.
Like in any system, there will be programmes that are effective and programmes that are not effective.

Sometimes, what started as a useful idea may need to be improved.

Instead of simply saying good or bad, can we look at (i) what is the objective of the programme, (ii) are objectives being met, (iii)what changes we need to make, etc

Look forward to your suggestions sir

Regards
Ranjani

Earlier this programme started with a good intention and objectives.
I feel even now in our education system there is a heirarchy in school teachers .we have never tried to work and think as we are all a part of a system and everyone is working for a good cause.
Unless we ourselves think as a whole and as community of teachers, such kind of programmes will not be usefull.
Norrmally we think that that day we visit a primary school and evaluate their activities.
Even college lecturers who visit high schools will think in the sameway.
We never try to discuss the challenges we face, sharing usefull thoughts which helps may help in childrens learning process.
We simply blame each other and never work together
School authorities also have an important role in this .They can bridge the gap between both high schools and primary schools in their clusters
But  i also want submit that there may be  some schools teaches who are reallly working in the way I discussed.
All the govt programmes will have a good objective but we always try to receive it in a comfortable way .
Finally I will conclude this discussion by saying these discussions and views of teachers will never reach the concerned people.
So they always will build a negetive opinion about teaching community
