Story of Amur falcon. gr8 migratory bird.

The bird name is Amur falcon.
Its diet consists mainly of insects, such as beetles, grasshoppers and termites.

Every October, a large numbers of Amur falcons arrive in northeast India especially Nagaland, from Siberia en route to their final destination — Somalia, Kenya and South Africa.

Amur falcon breeds in south-eastern Siberia and Northern China. A small bird migrates in group from magnolia.cross china, Nagaland India crosses Arabian sea enters Africa, Somalia, Kenya than south Africa.

Amur falcons travel up to 22,000 km every year.

these birds are caught, killed and fried in Nagaland.  One conservative photographer Ramki sreenivasan efforts makes free of the them from this cruel land.
