monday meetings!!!

We have been charged £35 for using Appleton Tower for our meetings!!! This was on the 08/11/2010, they've written down 2.5 hrs x £14. So sounds like they could have got us for alot more. Grrrrr! Guess we should've looked into this.
 
Ideas for a new place? Really don't think we should be going back, not even tonight.

Actually this may not be correct..... Did we organise an event held on this day in room G.07 on Monday 08/11/2010?

The description is a Miscellaneous Meeting in Informatics Forum G.07 on Monday 08/11/2010 for 2.5hrs x £14.
Apparently we booked an event in the Forum which incurred additional servitor cover.
 
Anyone know anything?

This guy Alan Beattie called me back and told me he could do the dj stuff for £240.  Is this too expensive?  He says he would set up at the beginning of the event and could do background music during the meal etc. as well.

It sounds alright to me. Especially since he would set up at the beginning of the night, then there would be no faffing around inbetween.
I've got a number for a dj company I'm going to call tomorrow, just so we can compare this price to what a company would charge. If you can try and hold off for a few days until we've done some research and checked around. 
 
Also, its a thumbs up from the photographer!! :) He said the last one was really good fun and he would be well up for this one. I just need to arrange to meet up with him to talk over how its going to work. Tahir, if its alright I'd like to come with you to the Radisson. I've got quite a few questions I wanna ask, and it would be easier that way. I can make most afternoons. Only got a lecture at 4pm on Thurs.
