Conformal mapping in complex analysis has a geometry flavor. Generally
the materials are centered with Riemann mapping theorem. We will of
course cover this theorem. Typically we will start with fractional
linear transformations. I will use Stein and Shakarchi’s book as main
textbook,again. Also, I will confer to the book “Visual Complex
analysis” written by Tristan Needham if needed.

I just finished the first reading of Chapter 8: ”Conformal mappings”.
The theory is centered with Riemann mapping theorem, which is very
elegant. It assumes very little conditions but with a deep conclusion.
Montel’s theorem is just the complex version of Arzela-Ascoli theorem,
but with less condition, too. Maybe it’s just me but the Schwarz-
christoffel integral looks just like making dumplings. (-:
