Lemma 5.5 is proved in order to get Hadamard's factorization theorem.
It itself is quite natural and the proof is very simple and elegant. I
recommend readers to read it first, separately.
One should first read the last section of Chapter 3, which contains
only 2 pages, because the proof uses theorem 7.1 of that chapter. The
proof is only little more than one page. So, it won't take more than
