Test suite improvements

As of commit 9eb05a14, the following enhancements have been made to
the test suite:

- All existing test suite failures have been removed.
- A count of the number tests that were run is reported.
- A count of the number of failed tests is reported.

Instead of looking at the "git diff" of "mathpiper_test.log" to
identify how many tests failed, the new procedure is to look at the
count of the number of failed tests that is reported at the bottom of
"mathpiper_test.log".
