Symbol $\Delta$ is used for triangles, But is there a symbol for Parallelogram?

I couldn't find one...

\Delta is not a symbol for triangle, use \triangle instead

AFAIK there is no symbol for parallelogram in LaTeX, leave alone in mathjax, but one can use \Diamond instead

You can use $\unicode{x25B1}$

Just note that that's not in the MathJax fonts so you will rely on the local fonts of your users. Since Mathjax won't know the character's metrics you might not get as good a rendering quality.

Unicode 0x25B1 is a “white parallelogram” for what it’s worth. Not sure what fonts contain it though.

It should be viewable in a current xterm built with Xft and launched with a suitable truetype font.  For example, in Ubuntu 12.04 I have this if I launch the xterm with the command line

    xterm -u8 -fa mono +lc

So it's out there.
